Dare to Play

This year’s Communications Summit of the European Association of Communications Directors (EACD) will see a premiere: a dialogue in speech and music about the art of improvisation. In this experimental format, jazz saxophonist Nicole Johänntgen and communications expert Ivo Banek will promote spontaneity and creativity in professional communication.

The title of the session: “Dare to play – the art of improvisation”.

The theme of the conference is “Creating security, stability, and resilience in an unpredictable world”. The current crises and uncertainties unsettle many people and raise the desire for better predictions, contingency plans and more control.

JazzCommunications counts instead on the power of improvisation, with which people can rise above themselves and cope with extreme situations.

“With our performance we want to entertain and inspire,” says Ivo Banek. “I am looking forward to exchanging ideas with leading communication professionals from all over Europe.”

The EACD Summit 2023 will take place on 8 and 9 June in Brussels.
