A journalist by training, Ivo Banek has more than 30 years of experience in professional communications.

Ivo was a political spokesperson in the Hamburg City Parliament and Communications Director for the Swedish energy company Vattenfall and the European city network Eurocities. He works as a consultant and gives lectures about Communications.

One of Ivo’s core competencies is crisis communication – he learned it the hard way, thanks to a fire at a nuclear power plant.

Ivo is also a jazz enthusiast and is working on combining his two passions: communication and jazz.
